Oil Spill Homework #1- Where does our Electricity come from?

Access the EPA's power profiler ( https://oaspub.epa.gov/powpro/ept_pack.charts ).  Use zipcode 04401 and look over the graphic results.  What do they mean to you?  How does our area compare to the nation?  

Watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__zB80Saglk).  Consider the different sources of energy utilzed by national grid.  Do you think we could generate enough electricity without burning fossil fuels?  Why or why not?  Share your thoughts in writing (a paragraph or 2) and submit  at the begining of class.
